For your child's next birthday, might I suggest a cake like this! It's AWESOME!!! One is chocolate and the other is vanilla. The rainbow is dried fondant and I piped the girl's name in the middle after this picture. It was very simple to decorate and everyone loved it!
Too cute! I think traveling with that or delivering it might be a nightmare. I love the idea though...both flavors and you tied them together beautifully! If Billa decides to ever do a Care Bears birthday, I'd totally do this :o)
ReplyDeleteWe actually took the rainbow out before traveling with it. We just put it, and the figurines, on for the picture.
ReplyDeleteThat is so good... How did you get the effect with the clouds??? And what support material did you use with the rainbow, is it wire with fondant around it or is it just fondant?
ReplyDeleteThe clouds were just a coupler without a tip. I just bordered the cakes and then built up the corners until they looked right. The rainbow is just fondant with 2 dowels running up each end. It was left to dry completely and there wasn't any problem.
