Just Cupcakes

Today, cupcakes come in all different shapes and sizes.

Emily's Baptism

My daughter was baptized in the Catholic church at the age of 4 months.  We had the whole family down to witness and celebrate.  For dessert, I made this cake and was able to really perfect my roses.

On one cake, I made 20 roses!!  Not bad for a beginner.

** Note to self, don't wait to baptize your child.  Go ahead and get it done when baby weighs under 12 pounds.  My daughter was born weighing 10 pounds and 14 ounces.  So, by the time she was 4 months old, she weighed somewhere around 17 pounds.  I had to stand there for 30 minutes, in heals, holding a 17 pound kiddo who didn't want to hold still. **
